Working with a carefully selected off-shore manufacturing partner, the Aquiba team has developed and launched a class leading smart water meter and is looking to further enhance their offering to meet the requirements of new and rapidly evolving markets.

The Role
As a technology developer specialising in electronic engineering your role will include:-
- research and development of commercially valuable technologies
- managing projects and budgets
- preparing and delivering proposals, reports, presentations etc. for potential and current clients
- travel to client’s premises or other meeting venues either within the UK or abroad
To be successful in this environment and realise your potential you will need:
- An outstanding understanding of applied physics and engineering principles
- Creativity and problem solving skills
- Good mathematical/analytical skills
- Self motivation and an ability to operate with minimal supervision
- Expertise in analogue and digital electronics
Desirable:
- Knowledge of design for manufacture and manufacturing processes
- Power electronics design
- Commercial experience, especially in a consultancy or engineering context
- Practical laboratory or workshop experience
- Software skills, especially C, VB
Relevant Qualifications

A good first degree (2.1 or above) in physics, engineering or a related subject
- A higher degree (E.g. PhD) is advantageous, but not essential.
