GridKey system provides low voltage monitoring using Sentec Iris sensors
Sentec, the smart grid and smart metering specialist, has announced that it is collaborating with SELEX Galileo, experts in the design, development and manufacture of sensor and data exploitation systems to launch GridKey – a low voltage (LV) metering solution that uses Sentec’s innovative Iris sensor technology.

Sentec, the smart grid specialist and product development company, today announced that it has joined PRIME Alliance (PRIME = PoweRline Intelligent Metering Evolution), to further the development of smart meter and smart grid products based on an open standard for power line carrier data.

The Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire visited Sentec, the world leading supplier of smart grid and metering technology, to present CEO Mark England with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. This is the second year in a row that the company has been honoured with a Queen’s Award. The Mayor of Cambridge, Ian Nimmo-Smith, also attended the event.
